This is the initial truck illustration for the main title menu. The blue truck at the top of the image is the actual vector file that will overlay on the title menu. The red truck on the lower left is the photographic reference, used to basically trace the larger shapes. To the lower right is the Illustrator wireframe of…
As promised a few WIP. High Poly Renders, Zbrush sculpts + subpatch: A concept vs final high poly comparison. Think I got most of it into the final model :) Final model wireframe: The set's not without its problems - I'm hoping Valve will get back to me on how to fix this purple lighting effect:
Your 3D is pretty good. However your 2D needs to try to follow human antomy a bit better. If you can improve your 2D concept pieces, you can turn out some better looking 3D Models :) . Can we also see more zoomed in Wireframes of the elbows and the head?
Heh, there's only so many ways you can show of a sword :) here's two more angles: http://i.imgur.com/q7Lds2R.png http://i.imgur.com/swbfag7.png Spec: http://i.imgur.com/GnItMWF.png Normal: http://i.imgur.com/8b07m3A.png Diffuse: http://i.imgur.com/5xz9IWQ.png Wireframe: http://i.imgur.com/eJxTyFg.png There's about 4500 tris
I would actually prefer a bigger render at least the main one from the front and a wireframe render from the lowpoly would be nice :) One thing I really don't like is the mouth think it seems plastic or cartoony looking, does not fit the rest of the character. Other than that damn sweet job :D
Thank you, should embedding not sure why they wont. Im currently looking into texturing it and have done some basics on my blog but not enough to post here...PHASEgaming classic mini model. here is a few more pictures and wireframes as you asked :) Attachment not found. The most likely scenario is that they are simply not showing the decal geo/floating panels on this breakdown picture. In other words : the wireframe shown here is probably not exactly that of the house seen in the ingame screenshot. A small user error when putting together a bunch of slides is more likely than some kind of…
Almost all your models are vertical, yet the homepage uses horizontal thumbnails. Why? Using vertical thumbs would make them much more informative. Also, your site is very very grey. Everything is grey, except the wireframe - which is precisely the one thing I'd advise to keep black or grey.
People all model in different ways. Some model from a box and just cut the shit out of it. Some do edge extrusion. I do both. Just do whatever is easiet for you to get the result you want. Study other people's wireframes to see how they do what they do and recreate it.
Yeah I understand that, but if the model looks great, and you give the dimensions you've used... surely that suggests you've used your space well? iono. Its a little different for wireframes though, as there might be some cripplingly bad geometry going on that can be masked... but I didnt think bad texturing can be masked?
