3ds max different display setup for 2 viewport
I'm trying to find a way ( if it even exist) to have 2 type of display settings activated at the same in diferent viewport in max. What I want is to have a 2 viewport layout and in the first have the shape set as non-visible (shift+s) while keeping them visible in the other viewport. Is this even possible? -
Re: Trim sheet with different materials on it?
Yes - as I said trim sheets are a way of re-using UV layouts. You can have a trim sheet that has only one material and no masks or sub materials. Trim sheets were used before it was common to have blended materials. -

So, I've been working on this for a while and I wanted to share my progress on this project, with the hopes of keeping my motivation a bit higher haha This is the main reference for the layout, but I'm using many others for doors, windows, materials... So far I have the blockout ready in Blender but I think I will have to… -

Hey cdr, I tried as suggested. The layout has a lot more cuts now and is tighter packed and straightend. I might have overdone it on the cuts. I also used a proxy with support loops but it doesn't really make a difference. The waviness is still there. -

Then learn web design or use a site like deviantart, carbonmade, etc. Or make you layout in photoshop and slice it up and take that into dreamweaver to get it set-up (google this process). None of the things are difficult to do. The work itself needs a lot of work. -

Thanks for the replys everyone! Tonight i'll be getting these in ue4 to start figuring out what layout I like. I'm definitely going to go with a walk up kiosk instead of a full built out convenience store to cut down on the scope of this project. -
Re: Dual Monitor or Ultra Wide Monitor ?
Dell hat a tool called Display Manager which can split the screen using many different layouts. It's possible to switch between display profiles depending on the program you are using, that's quite nice if you want to low saturation in a game for example.
