Thanks guys I'm glad you liked my concept :) Regarding her face, yeah i want to refine her nose, mouth, eyebrows area and a bit of her jaw....still lot to do XD but first i want to finish her armor! anyways thanks for the great reference @erroldynamic :)
I think you need a greater contrast between her choker and her oversized collar. From a distance it looks like her head is floating or that she has no neck. They're blending into each other. Otherwise, great work!!! (Edit: her hair line may also be a little too low.)
Seeing it from the first-person view, the thing that keeps bugging me every time I look at it is the lack of transition from the rubber part of the scope to the glass part. If there was a nice hard edge along the edge of the glass, that would really help. The first-person view is also making it hard to ignore the lack of…
Also some new games' SDKs/modding tools are a bit of a crippled joke these days. Serious Sam 3 BFE is a nice example of such a game. It won't even let you export their stock skeletons for rigging and reference. WTF Also not all Valve games are proper for modding. Left4Dead 2 for example, has a BROKEN addons menu, broken…
You shouldn't need 2 separate textures though, just double the channels you're going to use.. so yeah 2 textures if you need a 4 channel 16 bit image, but for flow maps you could just get away with a single texture, packing rg as one set, and ba as the other. Thanks for reminding me of levels. (duh) I'm 98% certain my math…
Looking good so far, just a need to double check your anatomy on that torso, her breasts look odd given her pose and her legs look REALLY small compared to the rest of her. These things become more apparent when you flip the image. Keep up the good work!
Might want to hide her hair while you fix her head. Don't think the lower eyelid/eye bag would look like that. Also check the face planes around her Orbicularis Oculi/eyebrow area. Like your progress on her sleeves so far. Keep going !
I think Im done with the hi-poly. I decided to close her hoodie a bit, it looked a bit weird open I think. There will be 3 or 4 outfits when when Im done with the low poly. One with her in just the shirt, one with her in the shirt and jacket and one with her in everything.
looks really nice man. she has slightly greenish palour to her skin. not sure of that works as well its like the forehead her her hair hanging down has a warm orangey feel to it then all of a sudden it changes to greenish. not a show stopper , but it makes her look slightly sickly or ill.
Howdy, Me and my girlfriend recently decided to build a game. She would be the artist and I would be the developer. She's graduating from a fine arts university this year, but has had no experience with a tablet until this week. She started working on a couple of stone wall textures: She's also too shy to register and post…
