SpeedTree assets don't come with very realistic materials by default. If you want the assets to look good you have to redo the textures and make better shaders.
Really cool! Love the folds on the cloth, it's defined just enough to make it look realistic. I always have a problem with either overdoing it, or not making it defined enough..
Try running as administrator, updating the setting and then restart in regular mode. Also, you could try the Nitrous viewport driver. And use the "Realistic Materials with Maps" option.
Best case scenario, the parts are 1:1 in length to the original discs (I'd be OK with this). But realistically, square will probably milk this for as long as they can and it'll be that much worse for it.
Head sculpt from memory, I was kinda shooting for realistic with this one and ended up with something really blocky and planar. Wasn't too disappointed with the results though.
q @ Demonprincess: So for the texture are you painting by hand or cropping pieces from photos? I ask because the face particuarly looks pretty photo realistic?
Looks good, man. The only nit-picky thing that bothers me is the skull. Even though Diablo is somewhat stylized, the skulls in their artwork are still realistically proportioned.
