He's a metal head with swappable bodies, commisioned by President Lincoln to defend America/fight the nefarious Emperor Zombie. WHAT'S NOT TO LOVE? it's an animated comedy with Lovecraftian horror and steampunk alt-history elements, all in the same style as Mignola's Hellboy comic. http://www.scifi.com/amazingscrewonhead/…

It definitely won't let you compare 1-to-1 exactly. You can try creating a camera to view an angle closer to the original camera. But I think you'll just have to eyeball it. Real-world cameras have barrel distortion and other artifacts that most 3d cameras don't have (unless you put a ton of effort into it).
Maybe it's not really all that badass. It's just a hammer. Found the concept on Cghub and thought I'd give it a go. I started this because I want to start learning how to use Zbrush, which I used once ages ago and got annoyed with. Hopefully I can wrap my head around it this time. Here's a link to my concept. It's by some…
Thank you for the question! I made this model myself, but I want to know how to make it look more accurate to the references shown above texture and normal map wise, and what I should do to make it that way. I can’t wait to hear back from you - Cyber Edit: I am not home right now, so I will send the screenshot without the…
Mop I was thinking that too, which groups get Nuclear weapons/energy and who does not? I guess Iran seems unstable to have them and the ruler in NK is a real real wacko, but then again many of you are laughing right now because you think Bush is crazy. shakes head and shrugs...... Sledgy I hear you, it is the Crusaders vs…
Hey all, I've been working on my first Zbrush bust (or head rather; no shoulders to speak of) and I would love some C&C on what I could improve upon so far. I've kind of hit a mental wall and don't know where to go next. I feel like it still looks a bit bumpy/melted, and I know I should start doing some more medium and…
sdfs are used basically everywhere in computer graphics and have been for at least 40 years just think of them as a gradient in however many dimensions you're dealing with and it all makes sense
Why do we have to "normalize" our normal maps? Here's an example that hopefully helps illustrate it! Notice how the lighting is messed up in the edited normal map. You can't see the windows anymore on the dome and donut, and even the flat background is reflecting the wrong colors. This came up in my last post; I shared…
