Hi Pior, you can already do "almost" exactly what you need with IC.Shape AxisProject. It is sensitive to current reference coordinate system, so if you put it in Screen, you can align along X and Y relative to current view direction. It is currently limited to X and Y axis or normal to current selection, so you should roll…
Yeah...CTRL-Y in PS...I have a button on my mouse for CTRL-Z and CTRL-Y and press them almost automatically... Anyway...I remembered one...not even a Noob-Mistake, but infinitely stupider....I once worked on a scene, Max froze on save, so my scene-file was corrupt...I was happy to see that Autoback saved just seconds…
Hi, I've been working on a game for the past 3 years and tried to come up with innovative techniques throughout production to increase quality without tanking dev time. I think one of the biggest achievements was managing to create a modular set of cliffs that were reused across multiple biomes and served as the core for…
Using photo textures is fine, as long as you want photo style. Just make sure to align the edges of the boards in the photo to the edges of your geo. Right now it’s really odd seeing the crack between two boards in the middle of your geometry.
Hi! I would be curious whether this vehicle design holds up with someone operating it. Personally wouldn't be keen on spending time translating an un-altered AI-generated design into 3d. Could be a real time sink with the unfounded decisions/ hallucinations and noise that you later have to make work. Or did you do edits? I…

How many paid art-directors positions are out there? how many folks wanted to just have a comfy IT job without much management? Do the math. Corpos don't need that many visionaires, those seats are already occupied by their kids. And yeah, I got…
Hi, everyone!! This project has come to an end. This week I’ve been working on the final renders. I’ve been rendering in Marmoset and using those renders for the breakdowns and the turntable. I’ve also been rendering in Unreal and placing the models in a natural environment to provide more context and storytelling. I hope…
Thanks for the detailed feedback. It’s very helpful. Yes, I did light the leaves separately because with my current lighting setup they were not achieving the same glowing/translucent effect seen in the concept. However, I understand that this is affecting the overall lighting consistency and value hierarchy in the scene.…
Hey! I've been posting some free content at times here, and here is another one. You can get 15 themes that we have made for Unreal Engine for completely free: https://eliaswick.com/products/editor-themes. The current Unreal Engine theme is honestly pretty great as it is, but if you have a favourite color and prefer the…
