Hey folks, i am trying to get into marmoset right now. I have made a transport container and everything is done. Now i imported it and it looks okay, only problem is that my normal map is way too "deep". And there is no slider for controlling it Would it be sufficient to put a layer with a 129/129/255 in the background of…
Hi everybody! I'm new here and totaly new to maxscripting. I've looked around and it seems possible but no clue how to get started. I'm looking for a script that will allow me to resize the bitmap texture of a selected object. For example a cube in scene has an 512x512 diff map assigned to it and I would like to bring it…
The *right* value will be what you want it to look like. If you have a constant particle lifetime of 4 seconds, and the fade in peaks at 0.4 then it will take 1.6 seconds to fade in. (4.0 seconds time 0.4 = 1.6 seconds) Also, 0.4 and 0.40 are the same value. you may want to look over the documentation for Cascasde. Also,…
I found this, so I guess after NG+4 it's just the same thing repeating. So I'm gonna guess it's infinite times but it stops at NG+5(?). * NG+1 starts at level 51. * NG+2 starts at level 81. * NG+3 starts at level 100. * NG+4 starts at level 120. * NG+5 starts at level 120 too.
Yeah those new 125ers look sexy as hell (yzf 125, aprilia rs and duke 125) Their resale value seems good as well and I bet they are fun to ride and throw around because of their little weight :P I'd keep one around for city commuting & everyday fun even if I had 600cc sportbike waiting in garage.
Yeah I did 120 on my build a few years back and it wasn't a huge issue. Though I'm pretty sloppy with my files so it was annoying. Current build has 256 which I much prefer, I think I paid about as much or less for the 256 drive as I did for the 120 drive, hehe.
Hey, here's what the low poly looks like with the normals applied. I've also got the AO on there with some highlights. How's it look? I know there's something weird going on with the footpad from the normals, but I can't seem to figure it out. The weird shadowing appears even when that area is filled in with the flat color…
Its good you say that because i was afraid it was too much, i tried to keep that in mind because i have a habbit of exaggerating. I see others do it more subtle. It wouldn't surprise me if its still too much. Haftoof i went into your thread and i might overlay a flat normal map color (128, 128, 255). Like someone mentioned…
You would also be surprised what happens when you actually use real world colors. These people deaden texture color so much it makes lighting look flat. The range between the green they use and the grey of 90% of the objects is small. Not all trees are green hue #123, not all concrete is grey hue #123, not all trees green…
