Hey folks, i am trying to get into marmoset right now.
I have made a transport container and everything is done. Now i imported it and it looks okay, only problem is that my normal map is way too "deep". And there is no slider for controlling it
Would it be sufficient to put a layer with a 129/129/255 in the background of my psd and then change my "over the top" normal map's layer's opacity? Or is there a more professional way to go about that?

This will work but use 127,127,255.
Also as Per says, never do this on baked content, you'll get all sorts of smoothing errors and seams.
but i already flattened everything and did some tweaks, so i won't go back to my layered file.
thx for reminding me of the renomalizing, did not think about it...
i'll try the opacity technique and renormalize afterwards.
