After being rejected by her original host, Jean Grey, the Phoenix Force resumed its relentless search for a new vessel worthy of its immense power. Amid the recent events that have shattered multiversal boundaries, the entity discovered a breach—one that allowed it to access realms previously unseen and far removed from…
Hi It is indeed true, “multi bucket render” or "Multi core rendering" will increase the speed of your render.Of course speed will come down to your settings but it will be probably faster using Mental Ray.
Can you give a bit more info on this map data parsing? I've done a fair amount of work with mapping and satellite data so might be able to point you in a useful direction (generally speaking the geospatial people have already solved your problem, it's just not obvious where to find the code or tools)

Unless I am missing something as well, don't think you are missing anything. Don't even need to get the component mask for R in your one> You are component masking a float but it's already a masked float straight from the vert color node, so that shouldn't do anything. The other graph basically ends up multiplying the vert…
Thanks guys. I've got the idea. Still I have to say it's a hell of a pain. Even more so than Designer usually is . I couldn't recollect where things are just next day. I remember getting into dA not because "sonic fanart" or something like that, but - if i remember correctly - because several famous photographs (inluding artistic nudes ones) used it. Regardless whatever was happening to dA in terms of "quality" or…
But does altering the envelope's geometry (editing component mode) actually alter the end results? I have a vague memory of me trying it out and coming to the conclusion that it didn't. I might be wrong though.
