Polyboost... not... working... help
I'm trying to get some basic functions down with Polyboost. I'm trying to use the Curve tool the way it's used in the documentation and the 3.0 video, but nothing happens when I press the button. Help? Thanks. -
Anyone have a maya script that selects faces with no material assigned.
I would like to select a model, than click a button and have it select all the faces on the model that do not have materials assigned to them. Anyone written this yet? -

You're not going to find anything that'll generate a decent clean mesh by pressing a button just yet I'm afraid. Zbrush is probably the most controllable remesher out there but ultimately there's no good general auto-retopology solution . 3: use the options button next to the bridge command, it also has bridge adjacent threshold that you can set higher if the angle is bigger. -
