Try this trick: Create a new cube. Convert to edit poly. Attach your mesh. Delete the cube element leaving the rest of the geo. Re-export. Sometimes that fixes the scale issues when reset xform fails.
There's a marked improvement in your work over a short period; keep doing what you're doing. Maybe start expanding to some more dynamic poses and adding some background elements. Looking forward to more updates!
Unfortunately I didn't get round to finishing off the Artstation challenge but here's what I've done for the third keyframe. I've been feeling slightly stuck with the underwater elements such as plants and fish, and incorporating a focal point into it.
Yeah your polygon menu set is missing. Not sure what the thing is to bring it back :S though I know F3 is the polygon menu set. EDIT: Found it. Its Display -> Ui elements -> Status Line.
Thanks for the Feedback - I tried it again, add more elements so Its more visible - Im currently also trying to make a super puffy snow version Artstation Link : https://www.artstation.com/artwork/qmr3R
It could possibly be due to the position of your orthographic camera. If your camera plane is intersecting your object, then it's going to select all element in front of it but not in its back. Not sure it's the problem here but doesn't cost anything to check.
This TF iteration speaks volumes about striking a consummate balance between disparate elements, such as artistic nuance, pipeline finesse and software engineering too output a fully kickass experience, so kudos! to the gang at Respawn :D
If it's for a game then you don't need to model it. You can either bake floaters or add it as bump/normal detail in a Substance Painter layer(that is, if you use it) For the floater just model a single element and clone/array the pattern.
Yeah you really need some padding between the different elements, butting them up right next to each other is going to cause bleed problems when mipping or simply at lower texture quality settings.
NO TOGGLE ZOOM? AIM ASSIST? ONLY TOGGLE CROUCH? WTF!!!!!!!! These are gameplay elements that console and pc gaming are hugely different abt. The least they can do is give you options on whether or not you want them enabled.
