Well then, just learn gamemaker, RPG maker or some other simple engine and get going! stuff like that is a lot easier to do then to break into AAA and do writing there. if you want to focus on more indi style stuff there are no excuses! just start producing, make something :) -

I much prefer fighting games, racing games, sports games, and RPG's, so consoles are a better fit for me. I play RTS and FPS at the office a lot, too, but I like the console experience better. i.e. lounging on the couch with the girlfriend, or my little bro. -

Just read the interviews that talk about having 'more shooting and action' in 3 compared to the 'RPG elements' in the second :/ I only liked Mass Effect as much as I did, because my decisions had weight. I didn't like the second one at all - it was very weak. -
