Ha my bad I watched 1 set of Digital tutors and just assumed everyone talked like him.... :P LC is Light Cache and Sub = subdivisions and i brought my threshhold down to .001 I will let ya know after this week of rendering JK :P
Here's a sculpt I did in Zbrush in about 4 hours for a digital sculpting calss I'm taking, this is my first time using a lot of the new functions in Zbrush 4R3, primarily DynaMesh. I started with a sphere and used primarily the move brush, the standard brush, and a variety of the "curve" brushes.
No worries brometheus! I'd like to help in any way I can. In my experience at work, perception issues happen due to cultural and language barriers. As for when, it's anytime you don't talk face to face with someone. Haha. The digital age is wrought with misunderstandings. But there are ways visually of reducing errors.
Well, that was kind of a rhetorical question :) I'm wondering if them making people waive their rights somehow put them on the map of whoever is in charge of dealing with that stuff. After all Sony's refund policy isn't that great either and it disallows any refunds of digital purchases (apart from some subscriptions).
Apparently if you install the same digitizer drivers that the tablet uses, it is possible that a VNC or remote desktop connection could utilize the pressure sensitivity of the tablet. Only one thing remains though, a VNC that doesn't suck balls and make lines all jaggy with lag. Anyone at all experimented with any of this?
praise to carmack. QT3D was crud. If there's any real expert here, what was the difference between Photo Soap and Power Goo? other than the latter came with every scanner, digital camera and what not and you would end up with as many power goo CDs as you had AOL ones.
Here's a box that I modeled/textured in about 4 hours for my mapping for digital media class. I know it's not the most interesting model, but hey I thought it turned out pretty good so I figured I'd see what you guys had to say about it.
While we're on the topic of superfluous graphic tablet accessories, has anyone ever removed that cubic mouse from its protective cardboard box? For a piece of hardware that is otherwise a rather lovely, ergonomic design, that cheese block is just... ridiculous. A nice digital scroll whell perhaps but thats about it.
hell yeah also really not too interested in brush simulation thing, one of the cool things of painting digitally is that you can do different things than what brushes restrict you to. What i really want is a regular brush that can smudge at the same time, like in opencanvas.
An exceptional understanding of human anatomy and a creative imagination with a keen eye towards form, shape, structure, and silhouette in regards to modeling. Superior eye for light, shade, color and detail in creating digitally painted texture maps. i'm wondering if they finally realised how shitty all the stuff in WOW…
