hey guys, here are the final for these two. I started to add more items but I felt like it was getting to out of control with to much detail. I'll be busy for the next couple of days but hopefully i could get an establishing shot started on Friday to tie these two together. If not ill turn these two in on Saturday on the…
Thanks! that's great advice. and yes my portfolio needs a LOT of work. I don't know if I can get down to 1 item, but I definitely only want the 2d/3d art work on there. the photo/craft stuff is just for fun. I'll think about what you said about my dream company.
Dunno, in real life, I only notice scratches when the light hits the right spot, maybe tone it down on the the colour map a bit. A metallic item will receive scratches when it touches against a hard surface, so scratches most often happen on the edges, and in functional areas that are moved and touched often. Looks great…
bleh haha after seeing this the next morning, I see a ton of things I would have liked to add. like in image1, above the floor circle pattern I would have likes a pickup item to hover since that was the idea for it. I dislike fixed pickup platform since it almost always conflicts with the theme of the map.
Thank you for your feedback, i also feel a lot of it is quite basic even for lowpoly things. and now that i look at it it looks kind of artistically exhausted. I guess this is a side affect of freelancing. I want to get rit of the commissioned work items asap, and replace them by more dedicated work with some identity.
Thanks alot for your feedback. The scene/light setup isn't yet finished and I will definitely have to put some more time into this. I'm currently working on get the assets done as quickly as possible (including the items on the table^^), so I have then everything in engine and can start the scene set-up. (Deadline is end…

I kinda skipped the official alpha here because that one turned out to be a bit buggy. So instead, here's the official beta! https://krita.org/item/krita-3-0-beta-builds-out/ With over 80 bugfixes since the alpha, and a way more stable windows version in general due to building changes.
That's the reason Blender went the route of using AddOns (not sure you can add stuff like to the main GUI though, i.e. having an option/tool/function appear as a menu item). The custom properties and buttons are also reasonably adaptive but I don't know how easy/well they can be linked through to .py scripts.
I'm just starting out, but i found this tutorial extremely helpful! It goes through basically everything from start to finish. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=123397498#19058 You might find you dont need to follow the guide exactly, but if its your first item id suggest reading the whole thing.
