I've been working on this on and off for a while due to art tests interrupting my free time. Currently the base model out of max is complete. I now need to resculpt the head as it is placeholder and way off from the concept, do a sculpt pass on the clothes, and one on the armor. Then it's retopo'ing and turning into a game…
A Chameleon dude im working on. Just some base colors laid down for now. Hes at about 15k tris and some areas arent really optimized yet. Some stuff missing like his fingernails and som rivets for the armor. Also doing a shield and sword for him, i will post those soon:) zbrush sculpt

Upper body armor is done, for face is left detailing and more tweaking, also I need to make hair, this is just fibermesh preview. Displacements are baked, next is texturing. Hope you guys like it! Does anyone know how to do this? Im trying to view the Age of Chivalry knight model because im real interested in seeing the topology and mesh makeup of their models with the way they made armor, and peak around at the textures. Help is greatly appreciated! Dont worry these aren't going on a deviantart profile lol :P

I here again to update the current stage of my dwarf project! As the overall shape is already defined, I'm working on the details now. I dedicated a great time doing the armor scale and the fur, but I still need to do some tweaks in these parts before finalizing the character.
Thank you Will_Maccabe! I'm by no means an expert but I looked at references for the newer Primaris Space Marines, so it should be a Mark X type of armor if I'm not mistaken. Not that it really matters, it's all cool! Ok good to know regarding videos, I will keep that in mind for future posts!
I really like the detail that you're adding to the armor, it's a great touch. Not sure if I'm in love with the head/hair right now though. If you're going to do a cut like that I would suggest trying to go for something like in the bottom left picture of your reference IMO.
