Each of those collections gives access to bone types that have slightly different attributes, pose bones and edit bones being the most useful (the third seems to be Object-mode bones). I'd like to see you mess with vertex blending using a texture on the grass to rock transitions, I also thing you should edit the vertex normals on the purple plants so they light better, you probably could just point the vertexes straight up.
