This sort of thing would be amazing. In general cliff notes even for what is important in technical fields is super useful. I have a basic book on fashion which is just lineart of various clothes and clothing features + basic underwear types and it is one of the most useful things in my library.
I would think that these could be quite popular on a site like Turbosquid, or even (if in-game versions are available), on the Unity asset store. I personally could see myself possibly purchasing a pack like that for illustration purposes - to trace lineart over it, or to use in a kitbash. I hope this helps !
Looking good! My suggestion would be to use desaturated colours when shading, rather than grey, which is what it looks like you've used; and instead of using pitch black for the lineart, make it a colour darker than your darkest shadow. :) It will help with a more realistic feel.
I agree, I think the problem is the darker shades you have used are too dark. It creates the illusion of lineart almost. Lighten them up a little, and add some more details on the main rock as the only detail right now is where the dark lines are :) Gl!
After a while i came back to my characters from last year. I wasnt happy with results and i decided to redesign them in my procreate app. I Did lineart and im fighting wit values and colors. It is what i did so far.
Hi poly (: I'm planning a Tyrande fanart with the Temple of the Moon from Darnassus as a background. I did a quick sketch of the bg plus Tyrande herself and before starting to paint properly I would like to know if there are any big mistakes that I should correct before starting (specially on anatomy) to get rid of the…
There's a big difference between derivation and stealing. The skin was most definitely ripped from that artwork not inspired or derived from. Hue shift and filter and you're done, the lineart is still the same. Now if the skin looked more like the image you posted and Canisalbus called copyright then that would be a…
before you can use hdr images you need to understand what a linear work flow is and how to use it. there are many tutorials on google. the maya documentation show you how to set up linear work flow in maya.
Looks even more linear and dumbed down than their last more linear, more dumbed down game, but now you get to babysit a 12 year old with huge tits for the entire game. That is some smart design there.
Hey guys, 2 little things: Making a gradient with a shape is somehow cheaper than using the actual gradient node? Gradient Linear 2 is not really linear... The one that I made with an FX map is, look how different it is
