Howdy all! The plan for this is to make assets for a non-existent fantasy RPG that allows for character customization. So, I've made the base male and female (and any critique on them is appreciated!) and will move onto hair, armor, skin variations.. etc. Here's what I've got so far (rendered in Marmoset):

Tech art is an awesome field; I'm coming from the rigging/tools side of tech art not the shader side. If you want to get into it, spend time rigging a good body, as you finish prototyping/implementing a section of the rig i.e the arm, script it. You're missing a lot of genres. Choosing "others" does very little for polling purposes. So far I've come to enjoy playing online RPGs the most. If it's single player, it has to have a great story for me to get hooked.
Yeah...I'm sure guys who spend most of their time freelancing game art paycheck to paycheck just to make enough money for rent have loads of time to kick back and get stuck into a 50+ hour RPG. :poly141:
