thx everyone hey, good eyes, the mag was indeed a few inches too long at the time of that HP render, i've shortened it since (it should be about right on the lowpoly). the side picture i was using as a viewport background modeling reference had a deceptive shadow which made the mag look longer than it is

I think you get a problem with showing a powerful upper body, when you have big, long legs. If you want to show a really strong upper body it would now need to be longer and wider. The size of the leg armor/boot compared to the size of the chest armor is also a big problem.

A skirt is bad if you want to go climbing and free-running. Especially a long skirt like that.
