I loved elemental evil , after a patch it worked ok .... vampire bloodlines was pretty much how described , looked unfinnished to me in every sense. shame to see them go tho , if it is true...
I loved it, just don't expect a full fantasy movie like The Labyrinth or anything. Pan's labyrinth is actually almost just a background element to the movie. Pan was badass. I love his design.
Out of curiousity, are you tiling the base texture and using decals to add elements like the painted symbols, random dirt smudges and exposed brick? Or are they just large individual texture sheets for each wall?
I kept telling myself that alot of these shots were real video with CG elements, but they are all CG.... it's well.. like I said, INSANE. Video: http://vimeo.com/7809605 Break Downs: http://vimeo.com/8217700 http://vimeo.com/7809605
Hi, I wanted to ask if there is a tool that allows u to use the uv grid setting in the UVW unwrap modifier in 3dsmax to slice up your model into seperate elements or objects. This is very useful for very high detail texturing. Thanks
http://www.protectingdesigns.com/bmw-group-files-suit-against-turbosquid While I can understand the use of a logo in a model, what is different about this one is that they are also going after design elements of the digital model of the cars.
Working on a throne room project inspired by both Game of Thrones and Skyrim, I want to combine some elements of both Norse and Gothic architecture. Below are some renders in engine: I would like to gather some feedback to improve this environment.
Hi, It looks like I'll finally be experimenting with Wrinkle Maps/Morph Targets etc. soon. However, apparently, you can separate certain elements, such as the forehead and chin etc. How is this done exactly? Are they just cut out of a regular Normal map bake? Or is it done a specific way? Thanks

this actually looks kinda cool, director of 5th element, with some Brian Froudish looking characters. with all the talking birds and rats and cats and dogs and fish and will smiths, this really stands out as something different. http://www.aintitcool.com/display.cgi?id=22525
