a lot of really good advice. For a small game, there's a number of engines out there to choose from. Godot, Unity, Unreal, RPG maker, and more. I would choose one that best suits your game idea and dive right into tutorials.
People have already mentioned your lighting. But overall, your skillset could be improved. 3D Sculpting, High poly sub division modeling, texturing, baking clean normal maps, etc. These are all the higher tier skill sets that will really make your work pop.
