here is female bust made for my personal anatomy course, based on Scotts Eatons course. I used his clay tubes modeling technique, but I think for the next task I will mix it it my standard technique, cause kinda hard for me to control the form. And as always critique is very welcome!
New idea. ORNN! Hell yeah! Love him. Ornn and his raging Lava (Ha, lava again, who knew) elemental busting into raging battle epicness. Taking place in the snow among battle debris and in front of a large unidentifiable (could be a secret weapon could not be, I don't know ;) ) building.
unf lovely sculpt man :) only thing bugging me is the forms on the main block part of the hand are bugging me for some reason. And some of the pants folds are a bit confusing but very cool overall, especially that head :) hope you can bust out some textures soon, shall be most good :)
Sorry for the late reply @THESTOFF I became real busy real quick! Thanks so much for the PO - after coming back I can see what you were getting at. Hopefully this update gets it a bit closer :D Now just to bust out that weapon and start the tech stuff.
@CJE Thanks, I just quickly blocked out the bust, didn't worry much about the muscles... But thanks for the heads up, I almost forgot about the chest area which is connecting the shoulder muscle... Here I think I made it more bulky and fixed the muscle part... I guess...
I lost my previous job during the post Fable: The Journey layoffs. Same shit. I want people to buy that game. I didn't bust a nut for two years along with some 60 or so other people who also lost their jobs, only to sweep the achievement under the carpet.
haha indeed Duncan, lets hook them up! Your Gnar is looking kick ass man. I'll try busting out several ideas for different fur patterns soon. Makes sense to get that to a good point before doing any more work on the clothing. Cheers for the kind words guys :)
Ok so that definitely wasn't my plan, ill remove that specifically, along with all the other clothing until i get my anatomy correct Thanks for the feedback, I'll lower the resolution on dynamesh and block in more forms today, was only going to be a bust but I'll just push it further. Thanks guys!
I'm starting with just the bust, to focus on getting the character/feeling right first. I've drawn some turnarounds to be sure everything fits proportionally already, but they're not worth sharing yet. Initial Mudbox sculpt: Retopo'd and UVed the skin. Still holding off on the hair for tomorrow. Starting textures, rendered…
Hello all, I have now finished my bust of a plague doctor and as requested posted a couple of different angles and the wires as well as the texture flats. Unless anyone has any other improvements or critique I think I will call this done and move on to my next project. Thanks for looking, Dan
