http://xkcd.com/585/ Proving once more that there is an XKCD comic suitable for all occasions. I don't think I actually have anything relevant to add to the thread.
You can get a 12" Cintiq for $850~950 new. If you got the Large Intous4, then you gotta spend at least another $400~$450 on parts. That's a Cintiq right there. But I don't think this guy looks at it that way.
There's a number of modern and classic Porsches (550 anyone?) that I'd love to see in Forza, so yah, it's pretty shite on EA and Porsche's parts. Surprised MS didn't put the squeeze on EA since Forza's a big Xbox product.
Agreed, I recently built my own rig and I went with the smaller ssd for the boot drive, Samsung 850 evo pro. I suggest a 2tb hybrid ssd for the secondary drive, they're a lot cheaper and will do the job.
wow this is really exciting. Thanks for sharing. I just recently upgraded to a second 580 and a 2560x1600 30"Monitor. So seeing these improvements is great! Tempted to try 3D surround, looks like a ton of performance increases were made.
580 tris so far after around 2 hours chugging away. All of that is UVmapped, it just needs arranging once I've got the rest of the mesh. Its fun working out what faces can share uvs :)
580 million sure is an awful lot of money to pay for an emo kid infestation. i'm pretty sure people would pay money to have theirs taken off their hands.
Is an rx 550 enough to use substance painter? cause that is the only card i can afford and the rx 560 and gtx 1050 have all been inflated in price. Has anyone here have experience using substance painter with a entry level gpu? Thanks.
Worked most things out. Question on the horns though. I tried keeping as much of the silhoutte as possible, but I think I may have overdone it. Together they come in at 850 tris. Should they be a lot lower? Without them I'm at 7,000.
