I did this in Max a long time ago, like 1998 timeframe, using Biped. Probably still works. If you specifically want to do it in Blender though, best to put that in the title. -

Yeah, that's the argument I use when people try to defend Elder Scrolls' not having horseback fighting. Zelda managed it in 1998! I'm sure the developer guys have their reasons, mind. -

Linca Torpedo 1909
This was for my assignment for class at my college Ferris State University (FSU) to make a transport vehicle between 1900-1910. This of course is a high poly. I wouldn't know how to make this low poly. Don't remember there was a term for that. -
WIP Watertower
