      Well, I still use unity 5.6 for an older project. It would be hard (maybe impossible) to migrate all my 2 years work to unity 2017 or 2018

      Modified script a little bit to make it work with newer versions of Maya. Tested in 2017, 2018 versions. mel commands: interactive Bevel; interactive Extrude; interactive Merge;

      I had this problem just yesterday. When you export your item make sure in the FBX options that the file format is NOT the 2014 version (looks like this with 2013)
