Just in case you guys didn't know, this functionality is built into Swift Loop. After dropping in a loop, hold control+alt, and you can click and drag the last loop you created. It will conform to whichever side of the ring it's closest to.
Oh cool! I think I saw this on the Facepunch thread for the HL2 Enhancement Mod. I would definitely suggest you take the rings holding up the wire and make them all at the same level if you haven't already.
Yeah, in most fantasy the common folk live a jolly happy life, the wounds of heroes get healed in an instant, everyone's so noble, noone ever takes a s***, all women are empowered, and so on... Even in Lord of the Rings, actually.

hawken: Well, a lot of it looks like just chaff, but the tools for selecting limited edgeloops/rings, as well as the "FlowConnect" tool look nifty. Well, and of course the half of the tools that are already in Wings3d. Select Identical can actually be pretty useful
Actually, I have a book at work with these images in it Great design elements, imo. Looks like Halflife 2 (inner citadel, anyone?), Doom3 and even Lord of the Rings has taken some inspiration from those wacky Japanese
