You have symmetry activated in te x axis and you are crossing the center. Keep the halves of the model from crossing over.

I think binormals and tangents only works when your 3ds Max viewport is set to Direct x upon exporting.

They're angles, in degrees. rotate the camera along the Y axis 45 degrees, then rotate up the X axis by -35 degrees.
