PSU sound okay. My system is on 400 Watt PSU with a 560 Ti and the not-so-power-saving q6600. If you look at the latest generation of graphics card (Kepler) the power efficiency got boosted a lot, so unless you are into SLI or want to attach lots of addons 520 sounds totally sufficient these days (assuming it's quality…
You may have seen The 55 Dragon Marathon over at DA or other sites. The artist (AIRt aka Damir G Martin) created 55 dragon heads. http://airt.deviantart.com/ but even better. Here's a very nice tutorial and alpha pack. http://www.cgtantra.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=567&Itemid=34
hello! it's me again with another weapon finished.. This is my very first hand painted texture! No additional textures and stuff... which is a very new way for me.. Learned a lot from this pistol, and I hope to learn more by putting it out here, and ask for some crits on it! only diffuse, 586 triangles, bassed on…
Thanks, Richard! The tools look completely owesome!!! I believe this plugin is much more stable and well optimized than NEX which often leads to a modeling process lags and even hangs(( And... what will be a price for a final product (at least roughly)? $168 for NEX seems to me too much :) )

I'm running a Palit 560 ti 2gb and I have no problems in max, any version runs fine. I will say that in max 2014 I have noticed a big performance boost compared to 2012 which I use most of the time. I can get 15-20 mil polygons in the scene without to much sweat (if I have to that is)
I blocked out and started making the assets for the scene. Just getting the walls done for now. For the BSP blockout, I went with with a main unit of 256, so that means my room is 768 units wide and 1024 long, without counting the stairs. I based these calculation off of a 3x3 grid floor tile. Hope these help other folks…
Nothing very exciting and only has a few hours worth of my work in it given that it was almost finished when I was hired by Tantalus, but none the less, its nice to have something on the shelf. http://www.midasinteractive.com/product_info.php?products_id=168 Theres an interesting story behind why we wound up making a…
Ya, I do the same method as thatanimator as well. If you have some extra cash, i strongly suggest this dvd. It goes through the method and will show you how to do it all. It took my weight painting to the next level for sure. http://www.thegnomonworkshop.com/store/product/468/#.UmE-UFCsjPo
