What do you use to bake high poly data? I bet not every 3d soft/baker could load 320 mil model or support UDIM that is usually necessary for such meshes. I use Xnormal but there is no UDIM there unfortunately. Substance Designer just hangs on such meshes for example
Ok, finally created a game page for the game! http://www.richmakegame.com/?page_id=399 here's some new stuff :) this is also a reminder to come say hi at the Eurogamer Expo in London if you'll be there! I need some moral support :] [ame] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Dr1cWyYFEg[/ame]
I'd say that 3dCoat is a great painting tool used by many pros. And its price is only 379$. Yet it has great retopo, UV and other tools. I personally would really love to try to migrate to Modo. Might get my work place get a licence.
Apologies If this has been posted, couldn't find anything: "...a new technology from Microsoft Live Labs that takes a large collection of photos of a place or an object, analyzes them for similarities, and displays them in a reconstructed three-dimensional space." http://www.ted.com/index.php/talks/view/id/129 actual demo:…
Thank you the polycount is on 129 now, i think i understood it right? I tried to find some wireframes from buildings in games like Assassin Creed, without luck! But my last problem is that the window frame is inside the house, but if i put it in it will show off wrong. Is there a solution there?
why dont you just grab everything that is keyable, go to F339, put a key down. then set your time slider range from 1-339. the only reason any of that would mess up your cycle is if you arent keying every object on your key poses.
if i were you, i would strongly consider changing the style, or at least proportions. maybe something along these lines http://th06.deviantart.net/fs71/PRE/f/2009/349/0/3/0377b7169bc02e6890c809e43cf7b5fd.jpg it would make for a far more interesting character to have in your folio, but that's just my 2 cents.
Ahaha I was just comparing that card to the $229 one, virtually the same, then you posted it again, so this might be the one. Why do you prefer Nvidia over ATI? I think I'm going to look into this more and post some links of my final, thanks soo much Esprite, love the help.
^^ hey Jason ^^ I think I narrowed it down to having a turbosmooth on the stack, but as I use symmetry and reference objects frequently, collapsing the stack is too destructive of a solution. So instead I uninstalled 64b max and installed the 32b version instead. That's the solution for my sitiaution, as I wasn't too…
It's not a top-of-the-line IPS, but it was a world of difference from the Samsung! Thanks to a 20% off new small business account coupon and a sale, I got it for $250 shipped: http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/products/Displays/productdetail.aspx?c=us&l=en&cs=19&sku=320-9270 (U2311H model)
