If you export an FBX file, it should save your camera including the position and various parameters like FOV. There may be some inconsistencies in how FOV is calculated between Maya and TB as you've noticed. There is also a bug which we plan to have resolved for the next build, which causes the transforms to come in… -

I've found that Textool's shifting of island is unreliable if you do any modifications to the meshes, like collapsing stack or resetting xforms etc. I suggest using a standalone script for this, it can be found on scriptspot.com As for smoothing groups script, it can break sometimes too. I think it doesn't work properly… -

Okay, the cape is looking much better, and the shoulders are much more reasonably sized. However, the head, whilst still beign a lovely design, still doesn't fit Rubick IMO. LOL, loved how his wings transforms into like hands, its a clear idea and funny. Maybe when you finish the animation it will feel a little bit rushed the 360° ( just an opinion) but I think that it can be going from the choke to the dead ( so we can read that choke a few more frames ) and add a nice overlap to the body… -

If you use any of the transform(i.e.:xform) tools (Move, Rotate, Scale, Mirror, some others) these affect the object at a higher level than if you were to go into sub-object mode and move/rotate/scale and do it inside there.
