So you have a normal map on that? It doesn't seem like there is one. If you are using one, make your highpoly alot more intesting or at least he corners rounder so it transfers to the low poly. Could you show your textures and also wireframe?
its really hard to comment on anything there because its poorly presented, and post-processed to hell and back. What am i looking at, the character? If so just post some clean screenshots of him in the bindpose or whatever in your 3d app, with wireframe and texture flats.
I forgot add the wireframe ... nealb4me - this one about the dirt that was a joke?? The textures are not to dirted? About the bin ... its a polisz bin Original on shape and dirt:). HumbleEgo - I can only thx for that reply, it was very helpfull, I try fix that. Here are forgotten wires :
Thanks for the wireframe shots Tiros! Dont have any crits at the moment. I know its early in the progress but later on I think a lot of modern stuff like electric wires, satelite dishes etc would be cool. Maybe have a look at Stranglehold for inspiration?
His back isn't hunched enough. Create a bend in the top of the back and move the head forward and down. Also, please so a straight on side view as well as wireframes so it'll be a bit more obvious what can be moved around to improve the head's shape.
Interesting technique, but I still think the wireframe material and Push-modified duplicate is the best way to go - it doesn't require altering your model's geometry, and I'm pretty sure it'll render faster. Also, it's easier to tweak the colour and wire width/opacity that way.
Hey everyone! I've been playing a ton of Valorant and wanted to recreate my favorite knife from CS:GO in the stylized/Valorant style. Critique is welcome for any aspect. Tri count is 2.9k with 2k textures. More pictures with wireframes and highpoly are on the artstation post: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/WKmzOQ
hey guys, this is my first normalmapped model. i wanted to go with something simple, as not to get overwhelmed by issues. there is still a lot to work on here. the model has 382 tris. and wireframe this is just a simple render from xNormal viewport, tweaked a bit in photoshop. nothing fancy. C&C appreciated. cheers.
Hey, I just finalized all four characters for the game that I'm currently working on. It's a mobile survival RPG, and it's about vikings :) Looking for some feedback! Check out the 6k rez with more wireframes here: http://blackwindgames.com/uploads/all_characters_extended.png And here is how they look like in the game…
Apologies for no wireframe, its a mess, its one of my first attempts at character modeling. I was looking for tips on my proportions and anatomy. im aware of the wonkiness of my head/face, but tips on what would make it look more natural would be appreciated generally just rip it apart
