It sounds like something is overheating. It may be too much for your computer to handle. There is a safety feature in there to shut the pc off when it reaches a certain temperature. Used to happen to me on my old computer when too much was running for too long. -

I just built a new rig myself as well after almost 5 years of use on my old p4 3ghz and radeon x800. That was a pretty stable system, but really weak on the rendering/baking side of things. The tire looks too smudgy. Even very old tires keep their track straight. The trims...well I'm not a tire expert but that seems off to me and too repetitive. You could also put some dirt patches here and there but then again do not make it too repetitive. -

Your meshes look pretty neat. But looks like textures and materials have issues though. environments: 1) swamp scene has texel density issue. Ground is too low res compared to the rest of textures.
