WoW, thats the idea! Thank You, looks like it got definitely faster, like down to 30 sec. Could You have any other ideas, please, to bring it to the level of other users like "3-5 sec"? -

Try going to run and typing: sfc /scannow sfc stands for System File Checker, if it finds corrupt or modified system files it will attempt to replace them with the original file so you will need your Windows XP disc on hand. -
3ds Max - Load times with Customize UI panel
So in Max 2015, Customize User Interface is taking at least 30 secs to pop up. This is frustrating, since Max freezes until it pops up. This was not the case with older versions, like 2012, where at most it would take 5 secs. Does anyone know why this happens on later versions, and if there is a fix to this? -

these are really cool. i can see some ump-45 in there, some kind of russian smg designs, and something about the overall silhouette reminds me of the older german smg's as well. Has a very tough, utilitarian look -- like it might belong in one of those Metro games. -

woot, replacing every instance of "obj" with "smd" still works :D But the new dropdown box for file type is very handy, I just replaced "fbx" with "smd" instead since I barely ever use fbx. I like that it remembers the (last used?) path now. -

you on easy mode or the easy setting below it? If not at the lowest setting he's a pain. I set it on easiest or something to get my characters unlocked. 1 round, 30 sec rounds and easiest. rounds have to be bumped to 60 sec in order to build ultra for the Gouken unlock though. -

Perfect, smoothling normals and exporting the SMB from Maya worked like a charm! Here is the updated map for anyone that runs into this issue in the future. All I needed to do was Soften the Normmals on the low res, Retoped mesh in Maya before exporting as a SMB and the results where dead on. Thanks all! -

Editable poly is extremely flakey to develop for so much so I stopped trying to. IIRC it wasn't until v2024 they fixed this little gem and that 1 sec pause as max struggles to draw the ui :/ -

The normals of your hat are bent. (I only checked the .SMD) It probably came from your exporter, so check your settings. [Edit] I had a similar problem with a .smd exporter (wunderboy's but it works fine now), it looks like the normals have all been inverted on one of its Axis's. Uploaded with ImageShack.us
