You would need to expose the X and Y parameters separately in the shader settings. That can be done by editing the shader files in C:\Program Files\Allegorithmic\Substance Designer\resources\view3d\shaders
Allegorithmic has a bunch of good tutorials for Substance Painter on Youtube. The nose is looking a bit chunky and there's a smoother flow from the nose over the orbits of the eyes. There's the heart shaped curve on the horns too.
Aaaaah, so that's why the first mesh I baked before switching to 2.5 worked! Too bad, okay, I'll just explode for this one. Silly Allegorithmic. I still like you.
Congratulations !!! :) Thanks Polycount and Allegorithmic for hosting this fantastic contest .lots of fun, lots of feedback, learnt lots of thing last couple of months, being a part of this contest. Thanks for the 1st place. <3
The titan contest was for allegorithmic. And while the prizes may have not been much (I honestly don't remember), they featured the top 10 artists and credited them. http://www.allegorithmic.com/contest/battle-titans
Made my first Substance Designer shader with the "Substance for Unity 5" videos from Allegorithmic. Using it as my ground texture for the D-Walker. A few bits and bobs want to tweak and then its done :)I
You would most likely have to create a new shader or just add the detail map part to the existing shaders. They are located in C:\Program Files\Allegorithmic\Substance Designer\5\resources\view3d\shaders
Allegorithmic Bitmap2Material can do this for you and they have tutorials on their youtube channel that walks you through it [ame=" https://https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UKQTMHVOMKk"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UKQTMHVOMKk[/ame]
Hi. I'm considering grabbing Designer Indie on Steam and I'm wondering if there's any limitation compare to the Pro version? Sorry for asking this here but I haven't been able to access Allegorithmic website for a couple days now. Thank you.
If you are ok with paying, digital tutors is pretty great for learning software without having to do a lot of searching for good tutorials on youtube. Allegorithmic and Quixel have official youtube channels with great vids as well.
