I'm a huge fan of hand painted texture work, but have never really tried doing something from start to finished with only painted texture. So today I decided I would give it a shot. I think this turned out pretty good. It's sitting a 382 tris with a 256 x 256 texture sheet. Concept by Nate Rogers.
That's a pretty radical reference image you have there. I don't think it's an m4 though; most likely something more like a .308 in the AR family, like an automatic AR10? Hello @Nieb Currently you can't load a skew or offset map file into the corresponding sections of the Cage tab. Changes to the Skew and Offset Maps are now retained upon auto-reload, just make sure you are using Toolbag 308. I will add this to our feature request list though. Thank you!
yeah coots, got a bit invlolved in this game:0 some stuff is seperate from the locations and there is no indication as to where to find them ie I have 100 per cent on all the towns, bases etc 188 hours BTW - not great ,but I was n't using extraction very much for the first half of the game
@Garage Wow, I completely forgot that rifle even existed! Forgive my ignorance, it seems my memory failed me once again. A question though, wouldn't the DSR-1 be the .300/.308 version? I think there is a .50 caliber variant called the DSR-50, however, I don't remember the exact differences in design.
The beta looked beautiful **** 343i for downgrading the graphics. The latest item I have been working on over the last couple of weeks has been an L129A1 "Sharpshooter" Rifle, Complete with Folding Grip & Trijicon ACOG 6X48 TA648-308. Modeled in 3DS Max, Textured in Substance Painter. Textures are still somewhat WIP, but I think I'm getting there, Any pointers welcome as usual!

It is a big undertaking though, since we both live in the Netherland. What I am wondering: Should we buy the select conference pass ($380) or the full conference pass ($1145)?
