Hand Painted Sword

I'm a huge fan of hand painted texture work, but have never really tried doing something from start to finished with only painted texture. So today I decided I would give it a shot. I think this turned out pretty good. It's sitting a 382 tris with a 256 x 256 texture sheet. Concept by Nate Rogers.

The gold and bandages need to be pushed toward more of a red hue to match the concept. Otherwise great stuff man!

great job. its pretty awesome. i also agree messing with the bandage section would make it even more solid.

Made some changes here and there. I know it's not in the concept, but I added some cuts to the blade to give it a little more character.
