I really appreciate your feedback ATTICUSMARS and I do agree with you. there is definitely some areas of the model I can improve upon and correct and I will be making those changes as soon as I can. Thank you for your feedback and suggestions and I'm glad to hear you liked it.
Just wanted to say to everyone thanks so much for all the comments and feedback! :) <3 Going forward I might try to start showing more of the process (vids, zbrush sculpts, texture maps) and hopefully I'll get the time to start making some walk through videos soon =)
Did some Learning of substance over the weekend and I'll start posting results of that soon for the albedo maps on the door, right now I'm modeling other props in the scene, and I'll be making a small environment piece at the end with all the assets. Great advice Mark. And to add to it, go easy on your Undo buffer if possible, as the cache can break the scene. Save often, and as soon as you notice something strange occurring save an increment and reopen the scene. This usually helps to flush the junk if the scene has been open for a long time.

I've gotten a chance to work on this again. I didn't get as far with this today as I had hoped, but I want to post in this thread as regularly as I can so I'm throwing it up anyhow. Still working in greyscale for now, Will be adding color soon. C&C welcome. Cheers!
Thanks for the feedback. The idea with the lego material sounds interessting, maybe i will give it a try one day. Day 13 Some simple wood. To be true I'm not really happy with this wood, I will probaly make a new one, as soon as I know how I can make it better :/

Not a fan of the xbone controllers, but I can definately see why they would do that. It's a strong partnership for Oculus and Microsoft... I wonder what this will mean for the Vive and future of Steam's stranglehold on pc games. Either way I'm really excited for VR, things will be changing in alot of ways very soon! :)
