I, i am a bit new to zbrush and i am confused about wich matcap is good to use to polypaint and sclupt your model at the same time? Cheers for the help
It just requires a highpoly OBJ with the polypaint data, no UV's or textures needed. It will also only transfer the RGB polypaint values, not any materials in zbrush.

When you use the decimation master there are options for retaining polypaint. It really does not matter when you do your polypaint. That´s the cool thing about Zbrush. You can work on your UVs and topology whenever you want and use your polypaint on "any" model. Yes, you paint your diffuse on the highest subdiv because polypaint works on the verices, not on the UVs. You can get the polypaint data to…
