I was able to achieve something similar to his using trimdynamic instead of mallet fast and changing the material Also I tried drawing slow and fast but I really couldn't achieve the same look, i'm using a Wacom Bamboo and if I drew fast it looked like when you put brush spacing high in photoshop, and when I drew slow it…
okay, I don't think there should be any problems this time (I hope.) I did like suggested and switched over to OBJ for it. (not to mention major tweaks to the overall mesh in places.) Here's to hoping everything is okay. http://rapidshare.de/files/6636240/Cybernator2.zip.html if there are any problems with the model please…

I really like using an add on for Blender called the PolyQuilt tool which works very similarly to Maya's Quad Draw which I also like, but it has even more functionality since you can work in other modes beyond vertex (edges, tris, quads and n-gons) and because your doing this in edit mode, you have access to Blenders full…
No need for scripts, convert it into editable mesh and then use the explode function. Set it to 180, and choose objects. It even asks you for a base name, which it will use for the resulting objects along with an ascending number suffix. Afterwards, just convert back into editable poly. I never knew this until a colleague…
Thanks Mark! Is there any way to toggle "Preserve UVs" if the object is an editable poly? At the moment it will only function if I have an "edit poly" modifier assigned to the object, and this is a modifier i never user because all my hot keys are already assigned under editable poly; not "edit poly." I'm definitely not a…
STORY TIME SHIT FIRST I'm a Finnish game artist, 26 years old, with a small resume and smaller portfolio. So after 9 months of moping around after I was done with the military, after I was done with my cool LEGO internship, after I was done with everything from uni related to actual game work... I got a job doing some…
Hey ya'll! The game I had a chance to contribute some art to as a Character Artist just came out today! If I'm allowed to post the work I've done for it online, I'll put it in WAYWO and the main 3D subforum. The Giant Sparrow team has worked hard on it, and it's getting solid reviews. I really encourage checking the game…
lol, classic! Oh well. Still though I think it's probably easier to bring Blender to the other apps rather than the other apps to Blender. EDIT: Yes they all use FBX, but not all in the same manner. Take a look at all the FBX nonsense I had to deal with when using Modo's FBX with UDK and Unity:…
