Hi, i want to ask how to animate cape/ fur/ feather in 3dmax. right now i'm doing a birdman model & want to animate it. but, i don't understand how to animate the fur, so it will folloe the char movement automatically & naturally. (if the char jump the feather will go down, etc2) thx....
Maybe. I'll try adding "patterns" to my search terms. Thank You. Looking for information on how fur grows / how to set it up accurately (direction, density & quality of fur based on area of the body). I've heard Terryl Whitlatch refer to it as "Fur Tracks".
It's nothing fancy. I want to detail it soon. I was just sketching out a skull for practice warmup or whatever and decided to turn it into a fan made Path of Exile Unique item that will never see the light of day in the actual game =p I'll post the stats for my fan unique later. I'm gonna try to make the spine and cloth…
Perhaps a 2 month extension would've been better. it was on the poll, :( ah, Looks great either way & now you can be alleviated by an "final entry day". & make this even better. And also i was wondering how long it…
here's a fan art sculpt I did while I had some down time at work. I was inspired by this creeper. For the life of me I can't remember the name of the artist that made it and for that I humbly ask to be forgiven because I love it and I should be able to give him/her proper credit. I wanted my piece to feel like it fit in…
Ok but my question is more like : it coudl be possible to project those furs like a normal map ?so that the normal map baked in xnormal for example ( supposing that you can export the fur itself ) woudl result in a nice fur normal map on a model .... that woudl be supercool ...
Steakhouse has had some very sensible advice, but not all of it appropriate to factoring into a design of this nature. the guiding focus for this design (as with most all videogame related designs) is believability, not realism or necessarily making good sense. once you start applying good and sensible design…
