This is a great thread, love the variety of work posted. Here is an alien bust I did recently, decimated in ZBrush then rendered in 3ds Max with Mental Ray.

Have been doing some zSphere mock-ups of ideas for aliens recently - more in my [thread=97918]Sketchbook[/thread]. @GoSsS That helmet is looking awesome.
Hideous old man. So hideous that I'll call him an alien and be done with it. If he was more hideous I suppose he'd become a monster and that would be fun too.
Converting to a Noob [inspired] scene. Starting to add organic elements. Alien bug things. Slime, crap, webbings are planned. Learning zbrush and cryengine at the same time! weeee~

@Arthur Ramazanov- that is pretty sweet looking @michael milano- that is a nice alien bust, are those textures in Max? If so, how did you manage that, I thought decimation got rid of the UVs
it's always weird how a creature seems the most alien when they're mostly exposed musculature. somehow you took something with flow and made it look spikey (crotch protrusion notwithstanding.) it looks pretty cool!
Still need to finish texturing left hand box asset, working on right hand sides textures too (needs more greeble). Would quite like to model an alien egg or something and put that thick layer of fog over this.
