I think if the barrels were shorter and thicker it would look more imposing. Here's an image of the barrel shorter: *ignore the top left gun, I didn't paintover on it. Whats it going with though? Is it wielded by a person, on a vehicle, helicopter, etc?

Yeah, gotta agree, you really gotta model out the details in these meshes man, the pockets etc all look just like lame bumpmaps applied, and theres a huge difference in quality between the clothes and faces in most of your characters. Also color variation+++
wow thanks a lot kite! those alphas are amazing! and so is the ui. took me a while to get it working :P. is there a way to set it all as defaults? like max has the maxstart.max file? then i wouldn't have to load those alphas and change the ui etc. all the time.

Really early stages yet (no textures, just a few basic normals & ambiocc, needs more props etc), trying to get the lighting right at the moment, I do intend to break up the monotony of colours eventually with dashes of red. (The light blurs are done in photoshop by the way, gotta learn how to do those in 3d)
