Hi Guys Just updated my Photoshop CC to the latest 2014 version. After that NDO created normal layers do not show up at all. The overall layer structure & base coloring looks the same as before. Tested with a simple document created in CS6, and here Quixel Suite 1.1 NDO behaved as intended. The same documene & same Quixel…
It's Photoshop CC 14.2.1 x64 on Windows 7 SP1. All is installed on C system drive. Setting 3DO.exe, DDO.exe, NDO.exe and SUITE.exe to run as admin didn't change anything.
Same issue on my end... I'm running Photoshop CC alone (not the whole CC collection) and Window 8 on an AMD Phenom II system. Anyone have a solution yet?
Ok I did a complete reload and followed all suggestions, including installing at the C;/Quixel location. It still is showing blown out highlight on 3DO and it still ask me where Photoshop is everytime.
Sometimes get this when applying a regular (non-smart) material via shift+click in 3do. Works fine if I add the material through the UI then link it to the colour id. Using photoshop cs6.
Just tried the suite in the new Photoshop CC 2014 release. nDo and dDo don't launch at all when clicking their icons. Everything just flashes a few times and then nothing. 3Do launches with a Library not registered error.
Oh, this is nice. Might even be a reason for not canceling my CC subscription completely now that there are working alternatives to Photoshop :P Really explains all the inactivity on Quixels part for the past months too. Good job guys!
You can just add Photoshop layers, they'll work seamlessly and won't break the UI like they used to. I don't think you can even break the PSD without trying now - hats off to the Quixel boys :)
Hello, Quixel SUITE keeps giving me these errors when I apply the color map and when I press "Create Base" I have tried with following without any luck ~ re-installed photoshop ~ re-installed Quixel SUITE
@Grfxman Try going into the install location and setting the tools to run as admin and see if the run exe goes away. 3DO is just a viewer and effects the textures none so what you have in 3do is just engine side. You will need to adjust the texture in photoshop if you want it tweaked.
