This is my last portfolio going into my Demo Reel before I start my next reel. Crystal Cavern ~70k Tris 4 weeks at 130+ hours Feedback would be appreciated!
It's 14 inches tall. I modeled him using PowerNurbs in Max. And the rapid prototyping output was over 130 separate pieces that were all assembled as an articulated character.
I agree that viewing distance will obviously matter. But I do want the picture to be the highest quality possible. Especially when I'm going to be spending 130 dollars on a print :)

Two "medium" size displays > one big size display. It's not that expensive: two 22" 1680*1050 screens set you back like 130-150 euro's each here, that's still cheaper than one 24 or 26" screen.
i kinda like the lighting from post #130 more than the current one. it looked like fairly normal sunrise and stronger light gave the scene more depth. now the environment (especially the building) just looks more bland.
