this one is for pedro: BUT ISNT THAT TOO MUCH PADDING? You can never have too much padding. Its an impossibility, what are you worried about, that your textures will mip too well? When you're doing a bake, the padding will stop when it hits another pixel that is being "padded", so your padding will simply stop inbetween… -

1. Nothing stopping you from doing a diffuse pass as well. I(and many others) tend to assign RGB values to different sections of the highpoly model, then bake a diffuse map. This lets you easily create masks for the various material types your model may have. Keeping it RGB, or RGBCYMW makes it easy to separate with either… -

@Notman - I was the victim of that Yahoo spam thing as well - definitely not a Trojan on my machine though. I have trawled the web and a load of other people have had the same thing happen - lots of people saying they think someone has found a security hole somewhere in Yahoo mail.
