I guess Substrate is the solution for having metal partially blended with non-metalic surfaces like dirt and paint without the problems the metalness workflow had with such blended materials? But what workflow and export settings would you use for Substance painter > UE5 substrate to get the correct effect?
I had a chat with one of their boothbabes on the Thursday (actually they only had the one on that day). She seemed to really know her stuff, which was awesome.
A vignette featuring one Khada Jhin and one Sona Buvelle, as told from Jhin's third person limited perspective. PDF attached. 750/1000 words. ** Perhaps the part of her most vile was that she had Khada Jhin coming back. Jule Vernal– that’s what she knew him as. Jule Vernal the smiling, polite artist, one that bowed to her…
This contest is an interesting one, isn't it? Those entering must challenge themselves in a number of interesting ways: You have a game with an extremely established art style, an art style wrapped around a time & place, and are limited in what you can (or cannot) create for this contest. The latter part of my last…
imo lightbox is fine if your images loaded quickly, but when your uploading massive images or they optimized, anything will take a while to load. i suggest you ditch simpleviewer, as i tend to find that most people dont like it, and you have to hold the viewers interest right off the bat. also, think about utilizing some…

Reasons being that the field can vary in many ways. We now have hires for texture artist, prop artist, weapon artist/vehicle artist, and…
Progg, I agree with what you're saying. I've been on a few project's that I had to do about 90% of the work because my teammates were slack asses. I hated the classes where the professor picked the groups because after while you start to see who will work and who won't (and you always seem to get paired with the lazy…
Totally Sports had nothing to do with this (and i hate sports :D ) If what's been said is true then this was stirred up by 'black block' anarchists. I knew a few folks who were part of that movement when I was in college. They might sound like convenient scapegoats but to be honest this was the shit they used to get up to.…
