If by animated without rigging, you mean it was just the mesh moving? If so, then you can take your rig and skin with to the non-rigged version with the animations. Because what you want is the vertex info of the animation which the non-rigged one has. If you can duplicate this, it should preserve it's keyframes.
damn dude, that's ridiculous. an upgrade from that wouldn't even be $1000. they need to get you a new rig! hell, I can't even imagine working with 2 gigs of ram anymore.. especially if you're using sculpting apps.

Really helpful information and I sincerely appreciate it. I never thought about the fps (someone else renders) but i will check into it. If i remember correctly in the past renders were at 15fps and another was at 20fps skipping every 5th frame and i am sure that wont do the smoothness of the animation or timing any favor.…
This self project was to help get some practice on tentacle/noodle rigs, ended up with an over enthusiastic Sprinkler Robot! model Here's some pictures of the rig Here's the rig with no animation on it. This picture shows the rig at the beginning of the animation in the Sketchfab animation. And for fun, this picture has…
I have been seeing this more any more lately, movies where the director is the writer too. This never is a good thing, every time they do that the movies suck major balls. I also notice that they only do this with existing IP's like games cartoons, and comics. It pisses me off because they kill the IP's potential for a…
Hello. I need to know if there is any problem if I try to get a model rigged and animated in 3DS max into maya? I am a maya user and I can't really imagine a big problem in doing this but not 100% sure so help on this topic is greatly appreciated.
So after a little bit of simple modeling and rigging i have finished this simple rig and it will be up on highend3d in a week. I would love some feed back on it if possible. Note the rig took me 2 days to make and i was trying something different for the IK legs and toes. It is a simple clean rig.
wu-kung courier. We had a problem with the size, already asked to Tvidotto if there is an easy way to resize it because it's a bit too big and it's rigged already, if you know how to do it please throw some light here
Honestly, I don't think his head looks too big, I think it looks great! You just need to adjust his stance :) You may be able to fix it when you rig him, though.
