Yup if I was a level artist I would use that for a road. It's perfect. Good times. How can you guys tell who did what texture? I can spot a ripped of model, but a texture? Amazing.

if I saw this truck game 10 years ago I would have probably played it and enjoyed the random adventure factor.

its got nothing to do with the time it was made, and its probably got nothing to do with the skill of the people involved. Much more likely, it's all about the game getting canned about 2 months into development but someone thinking a can would look bad for investors, and just putting it out as it was. Ninty and sony and sega and whoever all have/had stringent submission processes to stop this kind of thing giving their consoles bad names, but there's no such thing for pc games

got burnt by buying this or something like it? Simple. Always judge a game by it's cover. If the publishers haven't bothered, the game is shit.
