I was really enjoying it up until the first big fight scene where he takes on that small army it had its moments though, and the cg/creature work was amazing I loved when he first arrived there and met all the different species/learned how to walk
My current project is a submission in the Artstation Beneath the Waves 3D character/creature competition. Here is the most recent image. I am still working on the rocky pedestal and textures across everything. Less than 2 weeks till its due now! Anyone else participating?
i know this doesnt help as much, but if you can get a copy or trial of kaldera, try it. it is much more robust and understandable. i have a copy at work, and all the creature guys ask me to process their normals as it does such a better, cleaner job than max7 does natively.
These are some great reference pics! I have a natural fear of nearly all non-mammalian aquatic creatures, arthropods x10. Lobsters and all their seafood friends actually frighten me more than scorpions do. Roaches, waterbugs, and mantii rank scarier than catfish though.
Cthulhu ia ia! Fhtagn! Blaaarrghh! Or however it goes ... I have deep, moist love for Call of Cthulhu first, and Lovecraft himself not far behind. Some of my first actually-pretty-good character models and animation were on Mythos creatures. I can't wait for this game!
We are In need for a character modeller/texturer to start in around 2 weeks time working up until mid december. The characters are bipedal and organic creature like. They would be made game ready for use in unity. Please send showreel + dayrates to ormond@koffeecup.net Ill do my best to reply asap Thanks in advance :)
Hey guys I was hoping to get your feedback on one of my current high poly wips for my uni game project (unity). I am not really a creature modeler and have been struggling to make this dude really pop. Any feedback would be really appreciated! :D :D :D :D :D
Is there good courses from start to finish ? I would like to watch courses for creating stylized character. Everything i find is realistic or hyper creature. I want to create stylized characters, before i go to extreme realistic. Also, some recommendation for online courses for Anatomy. Especially if it used with Zbrush.
Hello guys! Here is my first post here. My name is Paul Rous. I'm a Concept artist (well, I'm trying to be) based in Moscow, Russia. I like drawing creatures and environment/props. And this is my first birch dryad from a future dryads pack. I hope you like it and some critique will be welcome!
rn I work on this Mushroom covered creature. the Concept is a Lizard / human base that gets infested by Mushroom cultures in a parasitic way In my WIP shots I use polypaint to show the veiwer the details because I was told its hard to tell with only a single color :p Any kind of critic or comments about it are welcome
