bit of a long shot . but I know some of the guys on the forum live in nottingham. Just wondered if anyone could give me any info on Arnold as I heard it's a bit rough in places and I was thinking of moving there. Seems ok on the whole but there are bits 0f the town where lots of chavvy kids seem to hang around.
I think there's some many factors but it really comes down to have balance in your life. Getting stuff done at home, you need to have it vary from what you're doing at work, in at least some way, so you can justify it not just being (and feeling like) work. I do flash work and graphic design for a living, when i freelance…

Sorry for the long rant, but I need some situational career advice. Long story short, I started learning 3D art full-time 2.5 years ago, compiled a decent portfolio and felt ready so I moved across the country to Los Angeles in the Fall of last year to "chase the dream" and finally, after 3-4 months of non-stop job…
Hey guys, i've been trying to get trees like Rime and The Witness. Anybody know how these might have been done? I'm thinking vertex normals, but i'm not sure how to do that in speedtree! Also, I know Rime uses Unreal engine, but i'm not sure how they might have implemented the trees... any help appreciated!
